ボーイングの生産ラインの移行の話。

717という小型機ラインが終了するそうです。

Without the 717, Boeing has three families of commercial aircraft in full production: the 737 popular with discount carriers; the long-haul 777 for international routes; and the 747 jumbo jet.

Boeing closed its 757 line last year because of a lack of orders, and its 767 line has been slowed because it has only 25 orders remaining from a mix of commercial and military customers. A decision will have to be made later this year about whether to shutter that line as well, a Boeing spokeswoman said.

記事にはないですが、昨年５月に全日空が契約した

-7E7（中型の次世代機）

が登場予定です。

日航も30機～50機買うというリリースが12月に出てますね。

他社の展開としては、

-次週、競合である欧州エアバス(AirBus) の A380ジャンボ(B747と競合) がリリース

-7E7 と 競合する エアバス A350 (アルミじゃなくて複合材採用) が アナウンス

というあたり。
